Laboratory and Research Resources
Experimental Quantum Science Infrastructure
The Chand Lab is establishing experimental capabilities for multiplexed quantum sensing, wide-field optical microscopy, spatially selective optical control, microwave and radio-frequency engineering, cryogenic measurements, nanofabrication, and AI-enabled scientific computing. Laboratory infrastructure is currently under development.
UB Shared Research Infrastructure
Our research also benefits from shared nanofabrication, artificial-intelligence, advanced instrumentation, and high-performance computing resources across the University at Buffalo.
AI & High-Performance Computing
Our research can leverage UB's advanced artificial-intelligence and research-computing ecosystem for AI-assisted experimentation, automated data analysis, scientific machine learning, and large-scale quantum-sensing workflows. UB is home to Empire AI, with additional high-performance computing, GPU, cloud, data, and AI/ML resources available through the Center for Computational Research.
Electrical and Computer Engineering Cleanroom
The state-of-the-art Electrical and Computer Engineering Cleanroom houses approximately 5,000 square feet of Class 1,000 space in Davis Hall, supporting fabrication and processing of quantum devices.
